Decided to try for the possible Little Bittern seen this morning by Richard, but just as I arrived at Freshwater West a text came through from Clive about the Great White Egret, so I spun straight back out of the car park and went back the way I came.  Around 15 minutes later I was watching my second ‘Great’ new bird for Pembrokeshire this month (following the Spotted Cuckoo) from the steps at Stackpole Court.  It spent most of the time asleep as you can see!  Still present when I left at 4.30pm.

Clive and I then had a look for the Little Bittern at Castlemartin Corse without success, but the lovely Spotted Redshank was still there (a real rarity in Pembrokeshire these days) and at least 15 Chough in the Gupton Farm fields.  A nice afternoon.
