Some of you may not know that I swam from Marloes Sands on the Pembrokeshire mainland, across Broad Sound, to Skokholm Island on 22nd August. What started out simply as a personal challenge (well, it was different to catching the boat), ended up raising a decent amount of money for the conservation work on the island and got some good media coverage for the island and the Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales.  Click here for a little report on the challenge with a few links to more information: Skokholm swim report.
